Godmanchester Rovers 3 - Bloxwich United AFC 2 - match report

Godmanchchester Rovers progress to the F A VASE 2nd round proper and are in the final 32 for the first time in their history.

This was as a result of Saturdays hard fought win against Bloxwich United  AFC which was looking  like going into extra time just 15 minutes from the end.

The pressure was on Bloxwich for the last 10 minutes once their 10 ft giant full back was sent off after launching himself into the baying throng of the Goddy male voice choir who were having great success at winding up the opposing team, half of whom seemed as involved in trying to recipricate as follow the game.
