FROM 2013 THE MONEY RAISED WILL BE APORTIONED TO 5 LOCAL CAUSES.
EACH SHAREHOLDER CAN NOMINATE WHICH CAUSE THEIR SHARE CONTRIBUTION WILL GO TO .
THE CAUSES ARE
1 - A ROLLING FUND -
to build up a substantial fund to be used at a later date when a worthy project becomes evident
2- St. MarysChurch RAISE THE ROOF FUND -
to add to the current efforts to fund this repair work
3- GODMANCHESTER IN BLOOM -
to purchase a new planter and help towards the betterment of Godmanchesters flora
4- PICNIC IN THE PARK-
to help fund this annual musical get together
5- LOCAL GROUP FUND-
to create a fund of money held by Godmanchester Community Association which local groups can apply for donations from annually to assist their activities.
6- FIREWORKS FOR NEW YEARS EVE 2014
after the great success of the recent Community New Years Eve get together on the Causeway there have been many requests for a repeat. We have the volunteers but fireworks cost money
