SAM'S WALK, SATURDAY, 6 SEPTEMBER 2014 - A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO TOOK PART ...

... on the 23-miles walk between Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge and The Exhibition pub, Godmanchester in honour of three-year old Sam who was born 12 weeks early and suffered a bleed on his brain.  His parents, Roy and Kaeron Dodson of Bluegate, Godmanchester were joined by about 40 walkers.  Monies raised will be donated to the special care baby units at Hinchingbrooke and Addenbrooke's Hospitals.  Stagecoach laid on a bus to Cambridge for the walkers and food was provided at The Exhibition on completion of their walk.

Mr Dodson said "Sam is doing really well at the moment.  He's not talking or walking yet, but the Doctors aren't saying that he shows any signs that he won't, so we're still positive".
