CLUB 800 2015 IS OFF THE BLOCKS . .
The Club has lost a few old members for various reasons but, fortunately, flyers distributed a few weeks back generated a lot of interest - enabling gaps to be filled and also swelling numbers . . and prize money. A big thanks is due to the flyer team.
Treasurer Alan Hooker says a big 'Thank you' to all for renewing - and especially to first-timers and those who took out additional numbers.
With this year's efforts, Club 800 will have generated over £28,000 for local good causes since starting in 2010.
The monthly draw takes place at the Town Council meeting in the open public slot at the beginning. The 3 prizes each month are £300, £100 and £30.
There's still time to join for £12 (contact treasurer@godmanchestercommunityassociation.org), but be quick - the first draw is on 19 March.
The first ever winner was Roger Leivers, pictured below receiving his cheque from the Treasurer, Alan Hooker - to whom thanks are due for running such a successful scheme. Will you be receiving a cheque this year . . ?
